Terms and Conditions of Sale
These conditions are applicable to all sales concluded with La Cachette, by Friendly Hotel Collection (except for group reservations). Therefore, the customer acknowledges having read these terms and conditions of sale and agrees to comply.
These conditions of sale may be modified at any time, without prior notice or information, and the applicable conditions will be those in force on the date the reservation is made.
ARTICLE 1 - PRICES
The prices indicated are in €uro and include all taxes, and take into account the VAT applicable on the day of the reservation. Any change in the applicable rate, or any modification or introduction of new legal taxes introduced by the competent authorities, will be automatically reflected in the prices indicated on the date of billing.
Rates are per room for the number of people indicated and according to the selected period and do not include services (unless otherwise stated)
The tourist tax of €2.64 for 2023 per day and per person (over 18) is not included in the price and must be paid directly on site. It applies all year round. The tourist tax will rise to €2.75 per night and per person from January 1, 2024.
Some services may be subject to an additional charge and may be subject to change without notice, and the hotel cannot be held responsible for such changes.
No stay booked before the introduction of a promotional offer (non-refundable rate) will be reimbursed, even partially.
ARTICLE 2.1 - RESERVATIONS AND MEANS OF PAYMENT
Reservations can be made via the website https://lacachette-lesarcs.com/, by telephone, e-mail or post. Reservations will only be effective if they are guaranteed by the customer, either by providing a credit card number with a validity date or by paying a deposit, and after receipt of a detailed reservation confirmation. Payment for all services must be made directly to the hotel (except for reservations prepaid at the time of booking). The balance, if any, as well as any additional services purchased by the customer, must be paid by the customer before leaving the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation if the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation incomplete. Reservations from all sources are payable in €uro only. The hotels accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and has a secure reservation system (SSL) that protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted to the reservation in order to prevent any disclosure to a third party. At the time of booking, a credit card debit authorization will be issued. This will be done for information purposes, and will in no case be a debit to the account except in the following cases:
- Non-cancellable - non-refundable" promotional offer.
- If the validity date of the credit card is prior to the arrival date.
The customer is solely responsible for his choice of services and their suitability to his needs, so that the responsibility of the hotel La Cachette, Friendly Hotel - Les Arcs can not be sought in this regard.
The establishment also accepts vacation vouchers.
ARTICLE 2.2 - BOOKING AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
BREAKFAST AND HALF-BREAKFAST
Any breakfast or dinner not consumed on the scheduled day cannot be refunded or postponed.
Deposit : 50% of the total amount of the stay is to be paid at the time of reservation. The balance of the stay is to be paid 15 days before the arrival date.
Cancellation: No charge and refund possible up to 15 days before the arrival date.
In case of cancellation 14 days before and up to the day of arrival, or in case of no-show: the total amount of the booked stay will be charged, without possibility of refund or postponement.
Deposit : 100% of the total amount of the stay is to be paid at the reservation.
Cancellation: The total amount of the prepayment will be retained for any cancellation.
Modification of stay : In case of modification of the arrival date and/or the departure date, the amount of the initial stay will be charged in full, as compensation, without any other form.
ARTICLE 3 - FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure is any unforeseeable and insurmountable event beyond the control of the parties that prevents the customer or the hotel from fulfilling all or part of their obligations under the contract.
This includes, but is not limited to, strikes by hotel staff, government or public riots, natural disasters, health problems, hotel fires, etc.
ARTICLE 4 - CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Any modification or cancellation of a reservation must be requested by email email@example.com or by phone 04.79.07.70.50
The request will not become effective until the hotel has confirmed its acceptance in writing.
In case of modification or cancellation of the stay, the following conditions apply (except in case of force majeure):
- For any request of modification or cancellation made 15 days before the arrival, no deduction will be made.
- From 15 days prior to arrival to the date of arrival, or in case of no-show on the date of arrival, a deduction of 100% of the amount of the stay will be applied.
- Any stay started is fully due.
For reservations made via our partners' websites, cancellation must be made via this website (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.). The cancellation conditions that apply are specific to the partner and may therefore be different from those of the hotel.
In case of extension of the stay, the client must inform the hotel reception by 10:00 am at the latest on the day of the planned departure, in order to know the availability and the conditions.
ARTICLE 5 - HOTEL AND SERVICES
The children's breakfast rate applies to children up to and including the age of 12.
Pets are allowed in our facilities for an additional fee of 15€ per pet per day.
Rooms are available from 5pm and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. A surcharge may be applied if the check-out time is not respected. The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day.
The client accepts and agrees to use the room in good manners. Also, any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will lead the hotelier to ask the client to leave the establishment without any compensation or refund if a payment has already been made.
ARTICLE 6 - THE SPA
The Spa Wellness area is only accessible to outside guests under certain conditions and is reserved for guests aged 16 and over.
The client who accesses the wellness area or who benefits from a treatment agrees to respect the staff and the other clients. Also, any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will lead the hotelier to ask the client to leave the establishment without any compensation or refund if a payment has already been made.
ARTICLE 7 - ACCOMMODATION
In the event that the hotel is unavailable or in the event of force majeure, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate the client in whole or in part in a hotel of equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same nature. The transfer will then be at the expense of the hotelier who will not be liable for any additional compensation.
ARTICLE 8 - COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be sent to the Hotel by registered letter with return receipt, within 15 days following the departure of the stay that is the subject of said complaint. After this period, no claim can be taken into account.
ARTICLE 9 - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND PRIVACY
In application of the French law 78-17, called "informatique et libertés", customers are informed that their reservation is subject to computerized personal data processing. Users have the right to access and rectify the data entered, which can be exercised at the head office: SASFRIENDLY HOTEL LA CACHETTE - Lotissement Courbaton - Les Arcs 1600 - 73700 BOURGSAINT MAURICE. It is specified that this information is not communicated to third parties.
The hotel offers wifi internet access. The client user agrees that the computer resources made available to him/her will not be used in any way for the purpose of reproduction, representation, making available or communicating to the public works or objects protected by copyright, by a related right such as texts, images, photographs, audiovisual musical works, software and video games, without the authorization of the holders of the rights provided for in Book I and II of the Intellectual Property Code when such authorization is required.
The establishment has a video surveillance system in the common areas of the building.
ARTICLE 10 - LIABILITY
The hotel declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss or damage of the clients' belongings during their stay.
The client will be held responsible for any damage, deterioration, or vandalism that may occur due to the occupation of the premises and/or due to the participants and/or the personnel under their responsibility, to movable, decorative and real estate goods belonging or not to the hotel. Therefore, the hotel may ask the client to leave the establishment without any compensation or reimbursement of the outstanding stay, and to reimburse the damages caused by these acts, as well as all the prejudices suffered by the hotel.
ARTICLE 11 - APPLICABLE LAW
The present General Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. It is so for the rules of substance as for the rules of form. Disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
