In Les Arcs, the hotel la Cachette completely renovated
It was one of the first addresses in Les Arcs to be created by the teams of the mountain architecture studio headed by Charlotte Perriand. The Cachette hotel reopens this winter as a 4-star hotel, entirely renovated by the Patriarche architectural firm.
Open in summer and winter, the hotel, located on the snow front of Arc 1600, a stone's throw from the funicular, will include 260 beds divided into 12 classic double rooms, 36 superior double rooms, 28 Junior Suites, 11 spacious family suites and 1 XXL suite furnished with antique furniture.
The original spirit imagined by Charlotte Perriand has of course guided the reflections of the renovation: privileging the views, bringing in nature, proposing a design that combines authenticity, simplicity and functionality. Particular attention was paid to the choice of furniture, combining new pieces with reissues of pieces from the 1970s. In terms of catering and snacks, the focus will be on local and healthy food, even if the Savoie staples, slightly revisited, will also be on the menu.
