The most emblematic

In addition to its architecture, privileged location and relaxed mountain luxury, it's La Cachette 's value for money that sets it apart.

At the foot of the slopes and close to shops, the 4-star hotel inaugurated this winter takes up residence in an iconic building of the resort, recognized as a "20th-century heritage site". Built in the 1970s by Alain Taves and Robert Rebutato, under the direction of visionary architect Charlotte Perriand, it boasts a bevelled silhouette that favours light (+35%) and views, with a "habitat for use" inside. Each of the 88 rooms and suites has a large bay window that lets nature in, and the Patriarche firm, to whom Friendly Hotels entrusted the renovation, has respected the intention of a hotel for living, combining authenticity, simplicity and functionality. Instead of knick-knacks, there are books, vintage and reissued pieces and panoramic views of the Beaufortain and Mont Blanc massifs.

We like: the excellent value for money at the foot of the Paradiski domain.

PS: Le Totem in Flaine (another hotel in the Friendly Hotels family) is 2nd in the ranking!
