The most emblematic

In addition to the architecture, its privileged location and a relaxed luxury welcome in the mountains, it is the quality-price ratio of La Cachette that makes the difference.

At the foot of the slopes and the shops, the 4-star hotel inaugurated this winter is housed in an iconic building of the resort, recognized as a "20th century heritage site". Built in the 1970s by Alain Taves and Robert Rebutato, under the authority of visionary architect Charlotte Perriand, it has a beveled silhouette that favors light (+35%) and views, with a "living space for use" inside. Each of the 88 rooms and suites has a large bay window that lets nature in, and the Patriarche firm, to whom Friendly Hotels entrusted the renovation, respected the intention of a hotel to live in, combining authenticity, simplicity and functionality. Instead of knickknacks, there are books, vintage and reissued pieces, and panoramic views of the Beaufortain and Mont Blanc massifs.

We like: the excellent value for money at the foot of the Paradiski domain.

PS: The Totem in Flaine (another hotel of the Friendly Hotels family) is 2nd in the ranking!
